The next morning, I woke up and rushed the kids to get dressed and head down to the complimentary breakfast. By my calculations, we had just enough time to eat, get packed up and head to the airport. It wasn't until after breakfast that I discovered that the clock in the room was set an hour ahead and I never thought to verify the time. So we had an extra hour to kill (is anyone having flashbacks to my Chicago trip where my phone clock was ahead an hour?).
The airport was near empty and we easily got on our flight.
My overall impressions of Nashville:
We didn't plan on too much stuff so we never felt rushed or like we were missing out on anything. There is plenty to do and I can see us going there again (after we get to the other 37 states). The parts of the city we saw were clean and we felt very comfortable there. I would have like to explore more of the things which would have bored the kids such as one or two of the plantations. There is definitely an air of southern hospitality in Nashville. Everyone we ran into was so very nice and helpful
The Adventure Science Center was surely the big hit of the trip. The kids have said that they would like to go there again. And I think that next time I might brave the "bad neighborhood" to sample some true Nashville BBQ. Maybe I can talk the desk clerk into taking us there.
I would like to thank my online friends for all of the great suggestions of what to see, do and eat on this trip.
Thank you

What we didn't cover this trip, we will have on the list for the next time we are in town.
